• Design or specify wheels, shafts, drums, sheaves, hooks and associated components.
• Size and select motors, gearboxes, brakes and drive systems.
• Complete mechanical, load, drive and fatigue calculations.
• Conduct or review FEA and other engineering analysis.
• Produce 3D models, detailed fabrication drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Prepare bills of materials, engineering reports and technical documentation.
