You will work on innovative systems for the offshore and dredging industry from Numansdorp, within a close-knit team with short lines of communication.

• You design and model mechanical parts and systems in 3D, including with Inventor.
• You develop concepts and basic designs into production-ready drawings and bills of materials.
• You perform mechanical and hydraulic calculations, from manual calculation to FEM.
• You coordinate with colleagues from other disciplines and monitor quality, feasibility, and progress.
• You actively contribute ideas for improvements and help create customer-oriented total solutions.

Job requirementsYou are a mechanical engineer who enjoys taking responsibility and delving deep into technical matters. You switch effortlessly between working independently and collaborating, maintain an overview of complex projects, and know how to clearly substantiate design choices. Furthermore, you work accurately, are results-oriented, and have an eye for quality.

• HBO working and thinking level in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar engineering role.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical calculations.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Inventor.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
