You will join our OPmobility, India Technical Centre Hinjewadi, Pune  ITC is part of OPmobility Exterior Business Group from where we cater engineering and technical services to customers globally. Currently employing 200+ talented professionals, we have strong plans to grow several folds in next 3-5 years.   Job Description: Responsibility 1 Define one or more mechatronic systems, within the mechatronic systems project team   Analyze the needs and specifications of internal and external customers by publishing the deviation List  Define mechatronic systems (or modifications to be made to existing mechatronic systems) for client objects, through the 3D and 2D CAD study carried out by the CAD Lublin team. By defining the design, guarantee the assembly of each component in mechatronic systems or sub-assemblies from suppliers.  Create and manage changes to Product Data Sheet (PDS) after appointment  Activate R&D support services to achieve the definition of mechatronic systems (CAD, Mechanic Eng's, Simulation, Material, Proto)  Activate other company resources to achieve the definition of mechatronic systems (Quality, Industrial, Buyer)  Approve the deliverables of R&D departments concerning Mechatronic Systems  Approve the deliverables of the suppliers for the components defined by the Mechanical Eng for their integration into the Mechatronic Systems  Respect the schedule defined for the project  Guarantee the robustness of the systems developed (AMDEC, DVP, etc.) and the assembly of mechatronic systems on each station of the production line  Continuously analyze the scope of decisions taken and the risks incurred for the project. (Risk analysis)  Formalize the Product file (INPRO.NET) according to the list of deliverables in the check list on page 2  Work in synergy with the Mechatronic Systems project team  Participate in the industrial development of mechatronic systems for the production   Responsibility 2: Represent the Mechatronics Systems department with our internal customers  Be the technical contact for Mechatronic systems with our internal customers for the projects considered  Support to the Mechatronic Systems PM, on technical issues Mechatronic systems for manufacturers  Manage mechatronic systems requests from the internal customer to make them compatible with the Business Group know-how  Monitoring of validation tests of mechatronic systems with internal customers Responsibility 3: Achieve the price of the objectives of the developed mechatronic systems  • Participate in the “VA / VE” process  • Use existing components and standard OP division C Power solutions      Responsibility 4: Respect development costs    • Management of the sequencing of optimal design tasks  • Timely use of calculation simulation and pre-validation means  • Reduced loops in the development process: get it right the first time    Responsibility 5: Animation and supervision  • Internal technical presentation: 1 per month  • Presentation: customer technique 1 per quarter  • Animation of the extended team for the R&D part   
Responsibilities
The Mechanical Design Engineer will define and manage mechatronic systems, ensuring their robustness and assembly in production. They will also represent the Mechatronics Systems department to internal customers and support project management on technical issues.
