Mechanical Engineer About the Role Are you a seasoned Mechanical Engineer looking to lead complex projects at the forefront of defense technology? We are seeking a high-caliber *Mechanical Engineer* to spearhead the development of advanced products within a multidisciplinary R&D environment. In this role, you will hold end-to-end responsibility—from the initial spark of a requirement to the final realization on the production floor. Job Description Full responsibility for the mechanical development of a product, from the requirements definition stage to full transfer to production. Building a production portfolio, documenting models and drawings, documenting additional accompanying documents, planning production support facilities and operating subcontractors. Optomechanical design of products using IBM software. Education and professional experience B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized academic institution, Master's degree - an advantage Ability to quickly learn new topics. 5 years or more experience in optomechanical design development - a must Broad systemic perspective. Management experience - an advantage Integration into a professional and multidisciplinary team, with good interpersonal skills The position is open to both genders The position requires obtaining a security clearance Job location: Leshem Institute - Misgav The position is not hybrid

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end mechanical development of advanced defense products from requirements definition to production transfer. This includes optomechanical design using IBM software and managing production portfolios and subcontractors.
