COMPENSATION:

• Compensation is competitive and will commensurate with experience.

  My client is a Building Services Engineering Design firm, very well established and able to provide a lot of support and career growth.
  They are looking for two people; a Mechanical Project Managers and or Mechanical Design Engineers.
  The speed of your career growth will depend on the experience/level you start at.
  Education: Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical building services or similar

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of design experience in HVAC, plumbing systems for commercial and light industrial projects
• Excellent knowledge of the BC Building code, plumbing code and all other applicable codes needed to complete the design (ASPE, ASHRAE, etc.)
• Ability to read architectural, structural, electrical drawings
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both inside and outside the office

• Complete HVAC and plumbing designs on a variety of projects
• Perform accurate detailed site surveys
• Perform site inspections and accurate field reviews
• Eventually lead design meetings, architects, consultants and clients and communicate effectively
• Make presentations and lead educational seminars and conferences
