  JOB SUMMARY This position is the conduit between Engineering and Operations, regarding any non-conformance situation that occurs on the shop floor.  This person reviews the problems, and either provides solutions or seeks out solutions to those problems. The Troubleshooter works with Operations to ensure the highest quality product is leaving the factory on time, and within budget. This is a 2nd shift position. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Monitors the Quality tracking system and finds solutions to any Non Conformance that is written that requires engineering input to ensure there are no delays in production. * Maintains Non Conformance cost and quantity database for Engineering management to define Non Conformances by quantity/cost by department/person  * Determines by Non Conformance any areas that may need improvement. Defines issues in these areas and provides solutions * Works with Engineering groups on developing or changing designs to minimize Non Conformances.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * Working knowledge of Transformer design EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Preferred Education / Experience * 2 year Associate Degree * SAP experience preferred * Experience in an Engineering or QA environment * Previous experience in ProE and Microsoft Office Required Competencies Technical Knowledge  
Responsibilities
This role acts as the liaison between Engineering and Operations, focusing on resolving non-conformance issues on the shop floor by providing or finding engineering solutions. The individual monitors quality systems to prevent production delays and maintains databases tracking non-conformance costs and quantities.
