MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – DUNGANNON - £30 - £40K

Silverwood Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading Manufacturing company as they seek to employ a talented Mechanical Design Engineer for their highly creative design team.

• Take system, structural and functional requirements from the product team specification and deliver the required detailed solution
• Innovative design solution generation for New Product Introductions, service fixes and product improvements
• Ensure the product, system design, meets all legislation, customer requirements, and system cost targets
• Design detailing, accurate BOM compilation and drawing release
• Prototype build support and testing
• Co-ordinating with other parts of the engineering team as required
• Failure investigation and analysis, including introduction of containment and countermeasures
• Identification and implementation of cost reduction opportunities
• Adhere to company policies regarding statutory obligations and Health & Safety requirements
• Adhere to company ISO9001 Quality Management System and any future management systems
