Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the design and development of advanced lighting systems – from concept through to production. You’ll work across a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with major aircraft manufacturers to deliver high-quality, safety-critical solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the mechanical design of components, assemblies, and systems throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Produce CAD models, detailed technical drawings, and documentation to support production and certification.
  • Perform engineering analysis (stress, thermal, FEA, tolerance).
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including aircraft OEMs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace standards (FAA, EASA, AS9100).
  • Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of designs.
  • Apply DFM principles to create efficient and production-ready solutions
