In this position...  Lead and develop standards to ensure common Mechanical Tool Designs across all commodities and programs within Body Construction. You will provide the proficiency required to implement lessons learned, employee training, and Global Vehicle Operations Standards & Systems (GVOSS). This role involves fostering and mentoring BCE Engineers and OEMs through Design Profession Assessment (DPA) and Tool Design reviews to ensure production tooling meets GVOSS intent, is robust, and is appropriate for the application. You will maintain process and launch expertise in tooling and process development, with the opportunity to specialize in advanced manufacturing areas such as Closures and Hemming.
