HORIBA UK is seeking a driven and experienced Mechanical Design Supervisor to head up a talented group of engineers working on cutting-edge product development across the automotive, semiconductor, and environmental sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in mechanical design and a passion for leadership.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a supervisory role—someone who can inspire, mentor, and manage a team while driving engineering excellence. You’ll be the go-to expert for mechanical design activities, overseeing everything from concept development to build documentation and lifecycle support. Your experience in test instrumentation design will be a major asset, especially if you’ve worked in the automotive industry or with complex hardware systems.
You’ll collaborate across departments, manage subcontractors, and occasionally support installations at customer sites. With tools like AutoCAD, Creo, and Windchill in your toolkit, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, you’ll help shape the future of HORIBA’s innovative solutions.
