Established in 1984, Avalon Mechanical has grown into an industry recognized Mechanical Engineering Consultancy firm. Specializing in Mechanical Design Systems for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression, we have completed thousands of projects in a range of industries. With offices in Victoria, Nanaimo, and Vancouver, our team is growing, and we are looking to add to our complement of skilled and knowledgeable staff.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and ambition to learn

• Drafting and design of fire suppression, HVAC, and plumbing systems for new buildings and renovations:
• HVAC Systems, including heat load calculations, equipment selection and distribution sizing
• Fire suppression design, including hydraulic calculations
• Plumbing systems as per BC Plumbing Code
