DiSante Engineering is a leading mechanical and electrical building engineering consultant centralized in St. Catharines, Ontario. We prepare drawings and specifications for the construction of mechanical and electrical systems for a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. We also provide construction administration services to ensure what we engineer gets constructed on job sites. Our company mission is to engineer success. We complete this mission by continuously strengthening our technical knowledge, being innovative, listening to client needs, and delivering on promises we make. Our standard work week consists of 36 hours and our hours are 8 am - 5 pm Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 12 pm Friday.
DiSante Engineering is looking to add one mechanical designer that is a graduate of a college or University Mechanical Engineering program and preferably has 1-4 years of experience in the building consulting engineering field. The current role is a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications of the mechanical designer:
- Graduate of a College or University program in mechanical engineering.
- Preferably 1-4 years of experience in the building consulting engineering field.
- Energetic and not afraid to learn and try new things.
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic.
Typical tasks and duties of the mechanical designer:
- Complete a variety of engineering calculations required to size equipment, ductwork, piping, and etc. in compliance with applicable building codes and standards.
- Create engineered drawings in AutoCAD and complete other tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Regularly coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, and other consultants.
-Visit construction sites and create field review reports of completed work.
