JOB SUMMARY

Impact Engineering is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer who is self-motivated and has a passion for sustainable design and making a positive impact on the environment. You are a trained engineering technologist in mechanical building services design with specific knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems and energy.
You are proficient with AutoCAD/Revit and are a team player with good communication skills and enthusiasm to learn and to grow.

Qualifications / Skills

• Diploma/Degree from a mechanical building services program
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office suites such as Word and Excel
• Ability to read building design drawings
• Knowledge of building controls and energy management systems an asse

• Set up and prepare AutoCAD or Revit drawings
• Ensure company AutoCAD and/or Revit standards are being followed
• Design and drafting of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems
• Design and drafting of electrical systems
• Prepare building load calculations using software such as Carrier HAP
• Assist in the preparation of energy studies and reports; collect and analyze utility data
