The Role As a Mechanical Designer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc. Responsible for performing HVAC design activities using project approved “in house” 3D CAD modelling and 2D drafting systems. Produce the various HVAC discipline deliverables to the agreed schedules. Apply recognized onshore/offshore engineering practices applicable to HVAC design and layouts. Apply good interpersonal skills, liaising with members of other disciplines and departments. Apply an awareness and willingness to work as a team member. Quality Assurance – work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems. Safety – Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures. About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: Diploma of engineering or equivalent. Familiar with the prime drivers related to onshore/offshore HVAC layout design. Software knowledge: AutoCAD, Aveva E3D, MicroStation (preferable), BIM (preferable), etc. Minimum 6 - 8years proven experience of detailed HVAC piping design gained with design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the petrochemical industry particularly with respect to onshore/offshore oil and gas installations. A good knowledge of the codes and standards. Should be able to handle multi-projects work deliverables at a time. Should be able to perform External static pressure calculations, generate BOQ's from 2D and 3D layouts.
