JOB SUMMARY: Our firm is seeking a highly organized and detailed oriented mechanical designer responsible for accurately preparing construction documents under the supervision of a Mechanical Engineer. Duties include conducting code research, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines, preparing construction drawings and specifications, and construction support services. A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required. The position requires proficiency in Autodesk Revit. This is a full-time - Exempt position. WORK LOCATION: * Phoenix, AZ * Yuma, AZ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Design for federal, commercial, industrial, and/or infrastructure projects. * Prepare and HVAC and plumbing construction drawings and technical specifications.  * Construction support services (review equipment/material submittals, respond to contractor requests for information).  * Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. * Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:  * Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. * Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems. * Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing code. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Flexibility and adaptability to work in an agile work environment with personnel delivering from multiple locations or remotely. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Client (internal and external) service focus. * Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing design.  * Bachelor of Science in Engineering LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Engineer in training certificate – preferred. * Valid Driver’s License and Evidence of Insurability.
