Job Description:   Stantec is a global design and delivery firm, and a leader in global infrastructure, water resources, buildings, mining, power & dams, and oil & gas sectors. We provide program management and technology solutions for clients across the globe.    Stantec is looking for Revit MEP modeler and detailing designer with expertise in Revit MEP buildings applications to be based in the Pune, India office.    The Revit MEP Designer role conducts and supports the delivery of complete designs for water supply, storm, drainage and fire protection systems across projects in Residential, Commercial, Highrise buildings and Health Care facilities.   The successful candidate will be keen and encouraged to develop design skills in their chosen MEP field to contribute to overall project designs. This will include becoming familiar with Standards relevant to the project location (e.g., Middle East, Australian, British and American Standards).   Responsibilities:   * Develop and manage detailed BIM models for PHE systems including water supply, soil & waste, stormwater, and fire protection systems in line with LOD 300–400 requirements. * Interpret engineering design intent and translate it into coordinated, constructible BIM models. * Prepare general arrangement drawings, detailed layouts, sections, schematics, and pump room drawings. * Perform routing and assist in pipe sizing based on design inputs and applicable standards  * Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, HVAC, and Electrical disciplines using tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and ACC/BIM 360. * Participate in clash detection processes and proactively resolve coordination issues. * Perform QA/QC checks on models and drawings prior to submission.  * Generate quantity take-offs, BOQs, and schedules from BIM models.  * Ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, and client requirements. * Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to project leads. * Take ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality outputs.   Competencies:    Technical Expertise * Strong knowledge of:  * Water supply and distribution systems  * Soil, waste, and vent (SWV) systems  * Stormwater drainage systems  * Fire protection systems (hydrants and sprinklers)  * Experience in:  * Pipe routing and sizing  * Pump room layout development  * Schematic and riser diagram preparation    BIM & Tools * Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD  * Working knowledge of Navisworks and ACC/BIM 360 for coordination  * Familiarity with Dynamo or other BIM automation tools is an advantage    Coordination & Delivery * Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination environments  * Ability to independently handle modeling and coordination for small to medium-scale projects  * Strong understanding of BIM workflows, LOD requirements, and BEP compliance    Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting.
