About the role We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer. This position will support manufacturing with 2D designs for projects and equipment. Primary responsibility will be to ensure we have the materials, equipment, and information necessary to complete the job. This position is ultimately responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer's goals while protecting and promoting the interests of QTS. What you'll do Create main assembly drawings Create detail drawings from main assembly drawings Create flat layouts for waterjet cutting Create and revise main and detailed drawings Create and revise technical routing and information sheets Create and revise bills of materials Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in stainless steel tank design 1-3 years of RECENT experience using AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks Excellent skills/knowledge of AutoCAD Good MS Office skills: Outlook, Word, Excel Good work Ethic Ability to take direction from others as well working independently Optional Qualifications: Associated Degree or Technical School in Mechanical Design/Drafting Benefits Health, Dental & Vision Insurance from day one Short Term & Long Term Disability 401(k) PTO 9 Paid Holidays including your birthday Work Schedule Day Shift Monday through Friday In-Person Oconomowoc, WI
