Valiant TMS, a global industry leader, is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our Aerospace division in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where we design and build automated aircraft assembly tooling, positioning systems, Power Drive Units (PDUs), and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. • Create and revise CAD models and technical drawings in alignment with aerospace standards and customer specifications.
• Design customized tooling and automated equipment for aircraft structures, component assembly, and related aerospace applications.
• Estimate design hours and plan deliverables from concept through to design release.
• Develop creative, functional, and compliant mechanical solutions that meet stringent aerospace industry regulations.
• Conduct engineering calculations, select materials, and assess structural integrity through FEA or other analysis methods.
• Collaborate with internal and external design teams to produce complete and accurate drawing packages.
• Support the manufacturing and integration phases, ensuring designs perform as intended on the shop floor and in the field.
