Twin City Staffing is hiring a mechanical drafter / CAD specialist to support residential and commercial cabinetry projects in Monticello, MN. Wage: $20 – $25 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

REQUIREMENTS OF THE MECHANICAL DRAFTER / CAD SPECIALIST:

• 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD or DraftSight in a professional setting
• Degree or certification in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or a related field preferred
• Experience in cabinet design or millwork drafting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Cabinet Vision software
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications

• Draft and design high-quality custom cabinets for residential and commercial use
• Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or DraftSight
• Interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and client specifications
• Work directly with customers and designers to ensure expectations are met
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities
• Make revisions based on customer feedback or production needs
