QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The right candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design and 3+ years drafting experience for large mechanical assemblies.

The ideal applicant will have the following:

• Experience in documentation, 3D and 2D drafting and modelling.
• Familiarity with large mechanical assemblies, mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment.
• High level of proficiency with CAD and Autodesk (Inventor).
• Available to travel interstate from time to time.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment, solve problems and meet deadlines.
• Organized, focused and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to apply and adhere to workplace health and safety practices.

Pay: $85,000.00 per year

• Production of detailed working drawings, plans, sections, schedules and specifications.
• Collaborating within an engineering team to document, update, improve and publish the detailed designs.
• Working on all stages of projects, including planning and full documentation.
• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models (Inventor) for machine components including automated racking, food processing equipment, conveyors and robotics.
• Collaborate within engineering, construction, production and operational teams to document, update and improve detailed designs based on continuous feedback.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including system specifications, equipment lists, BOMs and operation manuals, while incorporating technical and operational requirements into detailed drawings.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings and models to ensure accuracy and consistency before IFC.
