JOB SUMMARY:

COENGR is looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role involves preparing accurate mechanical design drawings and documentation in compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and UAE regulations for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical drafting, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, detailing, and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret and produce accurate technical drawings from engineering inputs.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Previous work experience with an engineering consultancy.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements and UAE mechanical codes.

• Develop detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
