Moon-Matz Ltd. is a leading consulting engineering firm in Oakville requires an energetic and dynamic individual to join their mechanical engineering department.
This is a full time position where you will be reporting to the mechanical department manager. Job functions include drawing production using AutoCAD, on site survey / site measurements for new and retrofit mechanical construction projects. Work may also include condition assessments and report writing on existing building mechanical systems. Projects include Rail / Bus, Emergency Services (police / fire / ambulance), Schools & Universities, Community Centres, Office Buildings, Laboratories and other Municipal, Provincial and Federal facilities.
The candidate must have at least 1 year of AutoCAD experience and be familiar with building mechanical systems including HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, fans, RTU, MAUs), plumbing & drainage and fire protection and specialty mechanical systems (i.e. refrigeration, fuel supply / storage, etc.).

Additional Requirements:

• Certified Engineering degree, and Professional Engineer designation
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
• Excellent general computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in an interactive team fast paced atmosphere.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
