OVERVIEW

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at BST Supplies Ltd in Bushbury Wolverhampton. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and maintenance & repair tasks related to CNC and conventional machinery & facilities.
The role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of machinery and mechanical systems on the manufacturing site.
Ad hoc facilities/maintenance duties are also required in this role .
This is an opportunity for someone that is looking at working days rather than shifts

REQUIREMENTS

• Equipment Maintenance and Mechanical Maintenance skills.
• Experience in Maintenance Engineering and Preventive Maintenance.
• Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks effectively.
• Hands-on experience with machinery and mechanical systems.
• Strong electrical & mechanical skills, including experience with CNC machinery preferred.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in mechanical maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Relevant technical certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a small team.

Experience:

• Electrical Engineering: 3 years (preferred)

Work Location: In perso

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, utilising logic controllers and schematics.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as required.
• Preform general facilities maintenance tasks as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
