Job Description Job Title: Mechanical/Electrical Fitter Working Pattern: Full-Time, Onsite Working Location: Winsford Are you a skilled and hands-on fitter with a passion for precision and service? Your work will directly contribute to the success of high-performance equipment supporting military operations. What You Will Be Doing With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to: Disassemble, inspect, clean, test and reassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies to strict standards Work with diesel power generation and electrical distribution systems in support of military contracts Collaborate with team leads to ensure quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and shop floor efficiency Who We’re Looking For At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. To be successful in this role you will need to: Have completed a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent experience) Bring experience working on diesel engines or electrical systems in a service or MRO environment Be comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit, goal-focused team Show good communication and documentation skills in a regulated environment Demonstrate a hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
