Job Summary: The Mechanical Electro Assembler II assembles small components and will train others on various production lines, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high quality standards, and achieving safety and production goals. This role involves the knowledge of multiple production operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and effectively communicating with peers, line leads and supervisor. Key Responsibilities: Energetic Assembly Support Lean 5S initiatives to achieve a workplace that is clean, uncluttered, safe, and well organized to help reduce waste and optimize productivity. Demonstrate good time management skills while multitasking Assemble of small components Follow documented and spoken directions including on-the-job training, written job instructions and standard operating procedures Safely meet established labor efficiency and production goals such as throughput and quality of work Accurately complete forms and documentation such as production travelers (MOT’s) Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly Mark products, workpieces, or equipment with accurate identifying information using laser engraver Assist with inventory related tasks Assist with troubleshooting fixtures and equipment Perform basic welding/soldering of small components using microscopes, robots, soldering irons Knowledge of multiple processes on two production lines and ability to train others In-Process Quality Inspection Inspect components using scope, magnifying light, part specific gages, etc. Identify individual potential non-conformances ahead of completion Maintain cleanliness, verify calibration and ability to identify wear of inspection tooling Maintain traceability of work product Quality of work Maintain less than 2% individual non-conforming parts/scrap rate Physical quarantine your non-conforming parts/scrap products Ensure that all products meet quality standards and report potential non-conformances or safety issues Communicate any production issues through chain of command as needed Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality All other duties as assigned Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, including salary, performance-based incentives, health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
