REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with 3D CAD tools such as ProE, NX.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Master’s Degree
• Proficient with CAD design, drawing creating, preparing technical presentations for design review
• Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities
• Good skills and experiences in problem solving, time and priority management, communication, and project management
• Ability to learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance
• Good communication skills, ability to work well with other teams to meet production goals
• Good design background coupled with solid engineering skills
• Semiconductor industry experience

• Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging
• Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
• Assist in providing feedback on others work including presentations, drawings and models, and communicating ideas and results to other engineers and management
• Ensure documentations are consistent with SEMI, client Standards and other standards as applicable (ANSI, DIN)
• Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation
• Directly support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication
• Develop and present reports/presentations that communicate design intent, analysis, and validation at executive-level meetings
• Work with potential suppliers to ensure parts can be manufactured in accordance with performance and cost objectives
• Collaborate with cross functional team to ensure hardware designs meet overall product objectives
