Coffman Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (4-9 years) who wishes to gain alternative energy experience for a variety of projects, learn how to develop new business relationships, and work in a professional fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun! Qualifications Preferred Project / Technology Exposure Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) Advanced manufacturing Responsibilities Prepare and assemble proposals to win work Lead multi-discipline engineering teams through design milestones Respond to client and vendor questions Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Manage project schedules and budgets Facilitate communication across internal and external project teams Qualifications Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (required) Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred) B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or B.S. in Architectural Engineering with a mechanical/energy/sustainability emphasis ASHRAE membership and involvement (preferred) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred) Experience with Revit MEP (preferred) Experience in building systems design and/or construction (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Proactive, collaborative team player Salary range: $80,000-$93,000 This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
