Job Description Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for engineering excellence? Join our team in Porcari, Lucca as a Mechanical Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing our global product portfolio. This is your opportunity to contribute to innovative, high-performance solutions that make a real difference to customers worldwide. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplined team, working closely with internal engineering and operational departments. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our new electric actuators. This role is key to the development of the product portfolio supplied to customers across the globe, delivering effective and fit-for-purpose solutions while ensuring best practices are consistently applied. In this role you will be responsible for the design and development of electric actuator powertrains, including motors, gearing and other mechanical systems. We’re seeking a proactive and analytical engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex challenges using software simulations and hands-on testing. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills to liaise across departments. Qualifications • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience • Previous industrial design experience. • Proven experience of analysing, designing, testing new products used in an industrial environment. • Design and development using structured design techniques. • Use of the Microsoft toolset - for technical documentation.
