JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing designs from customer specifications for proposal efforts under the guidance of senior engineering staff. You will take full technical responsibility for new product design and development efforts, ensuring production readiness and delivery of all associated drawings, documents, and related data. This position requires analytical functions related to new product development and legacy product support, including tolerance studies, structural analysis, hydraulic analysis, and dynamic analysis. You will also be involved in qualification test plans and procedures and serve as the primary technical customer interface for new and legacy products.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience as a mechanical design engineer.
  • Strong analytical background.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics design.
  • Experience in vibration analysis, report writing, and ANSYS.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with qualification testing in similar fields.
  • Knowledge of shock, vibration, environmental, and endurance testing.
  • Understanding of hydraulics and schematics.
  • Experience with rig design using SolidEdge or any CAD software.
