We are seeking a skilled HVAC and Plumbing Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design of mechanical systems for diverse building types, including commercial, industrial, and military projects. The successful candidate will bring expertise in HVAC and plumbing installations, working across all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to delivery. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who is passionate about building services and design excellence. Job Description Here is what you will do: Design of HVAC and Plumbing Installations: Plan and design HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings, covering areas such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sewage, cold/hot water, and firefighting systems. Mechanical Calculations: Perform detailed calculations for HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical installations, ensuring system integrity and performance. 3D BIM Modeling: Utilize Revit to create 3D BIM models of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems across all Levels of Development (LOD). Technical Expertise: Provide specialized technical input and insights for studies and designs within the mechanical engineering discipline. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary reviews to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines. Quality Control: Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings to ensure adherence to project standards. Technical Specifications: Prepare and develop technical specification sections for HVAC and plumbing systems. Budget and Schedule Input: Contribute to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements. Qualifications Here’s what we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in building services engineering. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in HVAC and plumbing design. Proficiency in at least one engineering modeling/drafting software. Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Preferred: Experience with Revit MEP. Familiarity with Common Data Environment platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC). Experience with clash detection software.
