Job Description We are seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore, Singapore. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems for a variety of projects in commercial, institutional, and industrial settings. Design and develop mechanical systems, including ACMV, plumbing, and other related systems for diverse projects Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and REVIT Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other engineering disciplines Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and oversee installation of mechanical systems Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in mechanical engineering Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in building systems design Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office suite Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems design principles Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including ASHRAE and SMACNA Experience with building energy modeling software is preferred Knowledge of sustainability standards such as LEED and Net Zero is a plus Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Solid project management skills and experience Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and client meetings Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
