The Mechanical Engineer will work on various HVAC designs of high-performance buildings within multiple sectors including Commercial buildings, Federal Civilian and DoD, Mission Critical, Justice, Logistics, and Higher Education projects. This position is expected to begin ASAP. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Builds analytic and design skills. Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is a requirement. Preferred Qualifications: Interest in working in an architecture firm creating world-class projects! Working knowledge of typical engineering drafting and calculation software such as SolidWorks, CAD, excel spreadsheets. You will learn Revit and building load calculation software on the job. Demonstrated experience working in a team setting towards a common goal. Additional Information Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
