Job Description ​​​​​​​We are seeking a talented innovative Senior Mechanical Design Engineers, to join our team in our Building Engineering practice. As a key member of our Building Services team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and products that meet our clients' needs and industry standards. Review RFPs and raise RFIs as necessary to support the Business Development team. Review Design Basis Reports (DBRs) and Concept Design Reports. Review and approve design documents and engineering deliverables at various stages of the design process. Evaluate design documents and engineering deliverables submitted by other service consultants. Maintain macro-level coordination and understanding of related services such as Electrical & ELV, Mechanical, and Special Services. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely follow-ups and approvals. Review and approve Construction Administration (CA) deliverables including shop drawings and material submittals. Participate in internal and external meetings and respond promptly to RFIs and queries from clients and other stakeholders. Prepare and update trackers, design compliance reports, and other project documentation. Monitor and control project deliverables produced by discipline leads to ensure quality and adherence to timelines. Manage resources effectively for both in-house and outsourced teams based on project needs. Motivate and guide the team to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Provide technical expertise in addressing queries from clients and stakeholders. Training and mentoring of Lead Engineers, Junior Staff and Modelers. Ensure all drawings and documentation are in accordance with AECOM QA/QC Check lists and are delivered without any errors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, master's degree preferred 8+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering. Experience in Residential, Retail or Hospitality projects Additional Information Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to fast-paced environments.
