JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you a skilled and experienced Inspection Engineer with a focus on lifting equipment? We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the role of Third-Party Inspection Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of relevant experience and must be prepared to participate in EIAC (Emirates International Accreditation Centre) audits.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in inspecting lifting equipment.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Certification in lifting equipment inspection is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and auditors.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lifting Equipment Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Compliance Assurance: Implement and uphold all relevant regulations and standards during the inspection process, ensuring that lifting equipment meets the necessary safety and quality criteria.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and compliance status. Maintain accurate records of all inspections conducted.
  • Audit Participation: Actively participate in EIAC audits, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of lifting equipment inspection processes and adherence to accreditation standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and third-party stakeholders to coordinate inspection schedules, address concerns, and facilitate a smooth inspection process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and advancements in lifting equipment technology. Recommend and implement improvements to inspection processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of lifting equipment throughout its lifecycle, providing insights and recommendations for maintenance, repair, or replacement as needed.
