Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Engineer- FEA you will be responsible for:

  • Analysing in the Electrical & Mechanical Engineering team for generators and motors like structural FEA and rotor dynamics calculations.
  • Coordinating with engineers in the UK, the Netherlands and Czech Republic.
  • responsible for technical order specifications, including the required quality requirements or inspection requirements at suppliers and incoming goods,
  • Providing technical support to the Purchasing department with, among other things, supplier qualification,
  • Ensuring that all design and technological outputs comply with technical and safety requirements, including environmental requirements,
  • Initiating technical and process improvements by application of modern trends in technology and design,
  • performing trouble shooting on operational issues with machines in operation to support customers on site world wide,
  • supporting the Sales department with proposing new concepts or solutions to customers

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
  • experience with FEA
  • affinity with large electrical machines
  • Experience in Rotating equipment ( Preferred)
  • Be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal English
  • Be a team worker who displays a optimistic attitude towards work challenge
