CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent overseas qualification
  • Minimum two years of post-qualification experience in a mechanical or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with CAD software (preferably SolidWorks or equivalent)
  • Sound understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and fluid mechanics
  • Practical exposure to workshop or maintenance processes is highly regarded
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Brisbane team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative engineering environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and optimise mechanical systems for process equipment applications
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD models (2D/3D) to support project execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and functionality
  • Provide technical support to the production team and clients during installation and operation
  • Conduct research and development activities for new equipment and system enhancements
  • Assist in supplier engagement and procurement processes with technical input
  • Prepare engineering documentation, including specifications, reports, and risk assessments
