Intermediate Mechanical Engineer | Billericay, Essex | £40,000 - £50,000 DOE | Hybrid
We're working with an established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy looking to appoint an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to its M&E team in Billericay.
You'll work across a varied portfolio, with a particular focus on Healthcare and Education projects, supporting mechanical building services design from concept through to completion.
The role:
- Deliver mechanical building services designs across multiple projects
- Produce calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports
- Support projects from concept through construction and completion
- Liaise directly with clients and understand project requirements
- Review tenders and provide technical recommendations
- Carry out site surveys, inspections and condition reports
- Monitor installation works and project progress
- Work with IES, AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and wider multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure designs comply with relevant CIBSE guidance, Building Regulations and industry standards
What we're looking for:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Experience in mechanical building services design
- Experience using IES
- AutoCAD experience
- Revit experience preferred
- Understanding of CIBSE guidance, Building Regulations and relevant legislation
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Strong communication and project delivery skills
