We are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Environments team in our London office.
The role will offer the opportunity for you to immerse yourself in a varied portfolio of engaging and dynamic projects both in the UK and globally, offering the opportunity to work on unique and high-profile projects.
Our London Building Services (MEP) team is involved in a wide variety of challenging and exciting projects. With current projects including:
Marina Residential Tower, Athens – (Foster & Partners) – Greece’s tallest building will also be an exemplar in sustainable design.
Barbican Renewal, London – (Allies & Morrison & Asif Khan Studios) - A once in a generation opportunity to be involved in the low energy refurbishment of an iconic, unapologetically modernist building.
Canning Town Masterplan – (Jestico & Whiles) – As part of our multidisciplinary design team supporting the development of an estate regeneration masterplan on a 10ha site with a brief to deliver 1,750 homes.
BuroHappold’s London Building Services team continues to deliver cutting edge design solutions which encourage the efficient use of materials, energy and natural resources. Our holistic, multidisciplinary design environment affords our engineers the freedom and creativity to push the boundaries of sustainable building technology across HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing disciplines in close collaboration with practice-wide specialist groups such as sustainability & physics, facades, lighting, and technology.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Whether you are an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a step up, it is expected that you will be able to demonstrate:
It would be highly advantageous if you have some experience of using Revit and working on projects both in the UK and overseas, but this is not essential as we offer training on the use of this important tool.
