Partner with the best We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our CAD Automation team within a leading Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer specializing in turbomachinery (turbines, compressors, and related components). This role is pivotal in maintain a reliable CAD infrastructure and accelerate digital transformation across businesses allowing the design of complex mechanical components and assemblies. The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical design fundamentals with programming expertise and a passion for digital engineering and process optimization. As Mechanical Engineer – CAD Administrator, you will be responsible for: Administrating company CAD platform across business and regions, with activity of troubleshooting and optimization of existing CAD tools to improve performance, reliability, and user experience. Leading the level 2 and 3 support group prioritizing workload queue and activities Implementing and maintaining automation tools using CAD APIs (e.g., NX Open). Collaborating with product design teams to translate engineering requirements into automated workflows. Supporting deployment of new automation releases and managing versioning and documentation. Integrating automation workflows with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) ensuring data consistency and compliance with internal standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, R&D) to translate engineering requirements into automated solutions. Documenting technical solutions, creating user manuals, and delivering training sessions for internal stakeholders. Contributing to digital transformation initiatives, including model-based definition (MBD) and design standardization. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience in 3D CAD software modelling and drafting (e.g., Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks). Proven experience in CAD to PLM configuration (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter), CAD api and scripting and routing CAD customization Experience in infrastructure implementation and maintenance Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and turbomachinery components. Knowledge of drafting standards, GD&T, and tolerance analysis. Responsibilities
