Responsibilities Structural/Mechanical design of mechanical systems/subsystems Checking drawings developed by Designer Performing hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis Documenting calculations for future reference Qualifications Preferred Education / Experience: Must be currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program at an accredited college or university Preferred Knowledge / Ability: Knowledge of Engineering Statics and Dynamics CAD Modeling Experience with Finite Element Analysis would be a plus Strong problem-solving skills Must be motivated and have a strong desire to learn Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in team environment Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship. Responsibilities

The intern will be involved in the structural and mechanical design of systems and subsystems, as well as checking drawings and performing calculations. They will also document calculations for future reference.
