Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to apply engineering principles to heavy industrial equipment and systems.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
• Experience or strong interest in Research and Development (R&D), including testing, analysis, and continuous improvement of mechanical designs.
• Capability in Project Management to support planning, scheduling, and coordination of engineering activities and deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Understanding of relevant Australian and international engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality of work.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience in mining, heavy industry, or large rotating/processing equipment is an advantage.
