Description

Job Duties:

  • Performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives and involves conventional types of plans and specifications. Work is reviewed for the application of sound professional judgment.
  • Designs and directs personnel in fabrication, test control apparatus and equipment; determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products.
  • Performs design calculations and prepares equipment or material specifications.
  • Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
  • Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. CAD, reading and interpreting electrical specification
  • Reads design procedures and specifications leading to construction documents.
  • May supervise or coordinate the work of designers and other technical support personnel.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Transition products from product development to production.
  • Oversee manufacture of products and process optimization.
  • Interface with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, technical school, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works and/or AutoCAD Inventor, Microsoft Word and Excel and Project Management software.
  • Experience in Low Voltage Motor Control Centers (LVMCC) is beneficial
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
