POSITION OVERVIEW

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows and ensure that manufacturing operations meet both company and customer specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for designing manufacturing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience with welding processes and techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure optimal operation.
  • Conduct time studies and process analysis to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to manufacturing processes and ERP systems.
