Our client is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis at their premises in Inverurie.

SKILLS

  • General workshop duties.
  • Participate in HSEQ training or other identified training and personal development
  • Work on diesel driven equipment / packages.
  • Fault finding and creating reports.
  • Work on own or as part of a team.
  • Repairs, refurbishments, upgrades and maintenance on top side equipment.
  • Follow company job cards and detailed work scopes.
  • Keep workshop timesheet up to date on all jobs on their own tablet device.
  • To follow organisational integrated management system policies and procedures in compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other legal requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting daily activity across fabrication and welding teams
  • Working closely with team leads to help keep their projects on track
  • Ensuring work instructions are being followed correctly across all teams
  • Reporting progress, updates, and any issues directly to the Operations Planner
  • Liaising with QA/QC to assist with quality checks and inspections
  • Ensuring work is carried out according to standards and timelines
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workshop environment
