Description
Mellon Technologies isseeking a Junior Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with registration at the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) , on behalf of a major electricity provider ,to join their New Business Development Division. The successful candidate will support the team in the field of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) installations, with a focus on B2B projects, contributing to both the technical and business development aspects. Key Responsibilities Support the design, research, and development of new technological products. Contribute to PV project studies and design (large-scale installations), under the guidance of senior engineers. Assist the sales team with technical documentation, presentations, and solution proposals to help build customer trust. Perform engineering calculations, mechanical design, and technical reporting. Use PV design and simulation tools (e.g., PVsyst, PV*SOL) for system modeling and analysis. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (sales, electrical engineers, software engineers, project managers). Prepare technical reports and present work through PowerPoint presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in prototype development, testing, and performance evaluation. Present own work and project outcomes clearly through PowerPoint presentations. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Registration at the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE). 2–4 years of relevant work experience in an engineering/corporate environment. Exposure to photovoltaic (PV) projects. Proficiency in PV design software (PVsyst, PV*SOL or similar). Good knowledge of CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Strong understanding of electromechanics, structural mechanics, and energy systems. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Desired Skills Experience in PV plant design, permitting, and/or installation. Knowledge of simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL). Familiarity with R&D processes and product development cycles. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
