MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – AUTOMATION & MATERIAL HANDLING

You love building real machines, not just drawings. This role is with a respected firm that specializes in custom machinery and material handling systems for sectors like automotive, aerospace, medical devices, and more. They design, develop, and build everything right in-house.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Designing and developing mechanical systems, think small second line machinery, conveyor systems, from concept through commissioning
• Collaborating with controls, manufacturing, and production teams to create robust, efficient solutions
• Working closely with clients to nail down functional requirements and deliver tailored, reliable systems
• Creating and maintaining engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation—keeping things clear and build-ready
• Participating in integration, system testing, and final validation for high-quality delivery
