As part of our Engineering team, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals across sales, production, and purchasing to design and deliver high-performance mechanical and electromechanical systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with opportunities to grow technically and professionally. What You’ll Do Design mechanical and electromechanical systems including industrial production equipment, steam systems, machine tools, and material handling systems Develop detailed CAD models, assembly drawings, and alternative design concepts using tools such as Inventor and other CAD platforms Create piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and process flow diagrams Write clear functional descriptions to communicate equipment and process operations internally and externally Research and analyze customer specifications and design proposals to determine feasibility Develop bills of materials (BOMs) and complete assembly packages for production Coordinate fabrication, installation, testing, and repair activities to ensure systems meet design and customer specifications Support Sales with technical expertise and quotation assistance Participate in field startups, evaluate installations, and recommend design improvements Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events, 5S, and continuous improvement efforts Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR Five or more years of related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience Key Skills & Capabilities Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering specifications Proficiency in CAD design and mechanical system development Experience creating BOMs, assembly documentation, and test procedures Strong communication skills — written and verbal Ability to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and implement solutions Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing plant environments Work Environment This position operates in both office and manufacturing plant settings.
