This person will be responsible for Solstice Cell and Component Mechanical Design. In this role, you will: • Execute the assigned DOEs related to Mechanical design to meet KPI target • Solstice clamping fixture design,SOP & alignment with Customers • Quality check of Clamping fixture for re-using • Problem solving related to Mechanical design • Support Clamping process operation • Support Thickness uniformity test and Pressure distribution test • Mechanical design(Cell & Component) improvement and drawing update • Shipping package design and risk assessment We are looking for people who: Required: • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering. • 1 – 3 years of experience in a mechanical design role to issue Drawings in a product development. • Skills and Experience with a 3D modeling software such as Solidworks, CATIA, Creo, etc. Factorial Confidential: Company• Skills and Experience utilizing machining equipment such as a vertical endmill, band saw, lathe, welding, 3D printer etc. • Good written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred: • Experience working with Aluminum machining, HW, welding techniques, and injection molding. • Experience utilizing measuring equipment such as loadcell, LVDT and Tekscan or other pressure related. • 1-3 years of experience working on lithium-based battery technology Some of our competitive benefits include: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Generous paid time off • 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds • Education assistance plan • Life insurance and disability coverage Salary Range: 90k-110K USD Work Location: 805 Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica, MA 01821 Factorial Energy is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
