Our company The 4WD Depot is currently seeking a engineer / draftsman to join our team.
The main job will be learning and operating CNC machines, Brake press, Laser cutter etc.
This is an exciting new job to design and manufacture new products for automotive market.
Must be fluent in solidworks / fusion 360, a good understanding of autocad and adobe suite.
The selected candidate will help design products on vehicle and bring them to market and will be involved in the full process from start to finish.
The 4WD depot manufactures a lot of products in house, utilizing state of the art CNC laser cutting machines, CNC press brakes, CNC laser marking / engraving machines, Milling machines, lathes, in house powder coating lines and MIG/TIG Welding
Must be able to work on your own and in a team.
Some duties will include:-
-Designing parts primarily for the offroad 4WD, RV and Camping market
-Operating 3D printer for prototyping
-Operating CNC Laser cutting machines and coordinating / nesting jobs with machine operators.
-Operating CNC press brake software (running simulations and tool setup etc)
-Designing new products for automotive and other markets.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
