JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. The successful applicant will contribute to projects from conception through to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with relevant experience in the industry. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge is advantageous, as is experience in system design. Proficiency in software tools such as Revit is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: £40,000.00-£70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and MicroStation.
  • Create detailed schematics and documentation for system designs.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs.
  • Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Utilise Python for automation of tasks and data analysis as required.
  • Implement surface mount technology (SMT) in the development of circuit boards.
  • Provide firmware development support for embedded systems.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
